Bucyrus Historical Society Annual Cemetary Walk
Please Join Us!
The Bucyrus Historical Society invites you to the 2025 Cemetery Walk on Sunday, June 22, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at Oakwood Cemetery. This year's walk features the remarkable Hopley family, one of Bucyrus's most influential families. Step back in time with live portrayals and discover fascinating stories—including “The Wedding that Wasn’t,” scandalous arrests, tragic accidents, and more.
Golf cart transportation will be available for those needing assistance. Donations are appreciated and support the preservation of our local history.

June Summer Concert Series at Schines Art Park
Locals and visitors are invited to enjoy a summer evening of live music at Schines Art Park! Don’t miss the Summer Concert featuring bluegrass band The Fret Mashers on June 24th from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m. Bring a chair or blanket, grab a DORA cup, and enjoy a drink from one of our local establishments as you soak in the music under the stars in the heart of downtown Bucyrus!

Take a step back in time to experience and explore Bucyrus’s unique heritage, enjoy engaging displays, and connect with the stories that shaped our community.
This annual event reflects the Society’s mission—preserving and sharing Bucyrus history since 1969.

This year, Brattie is rolling out the red carpet for our heroes in education. With the theme “Brattie Honors Our Educators,” the festival is dedicating events and celebrations to the incredible teachers and school staff who help shape our future.

The Best "Wurst" Bike Ride
Join us for the Best "Wurst" Bike Ride, held in conjunction with the Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival and brought to you by the Bucyrus Tourism Bureau! The ride will begin at the Crawford County Fairgrounds, 610 Whetstone Street, at the Antique Farm Machinery Museum location. Enjoy a scenic ride, community spirit, and a taste of tradition—all in celebration of Bucyrus’ famous bratwurst heritage. Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind cycling experience!

Join the Fraternal Order of Police on Friday, June 14th for Cruisin' with the Cops, an all-day event in Downtown Bucyrus!
Stroll through rows of classic cars, connect with local law enforcement, and soak in the atmosphere of our historic downtown.
